3 “nifty” digital tools to measure shares, likes and performance on Facebook, Twitter ++

In the past I have been recommended some useful tools to measure the number of shares and likes of my blog on Facebook and Twitter. Some of them accounts for LinkedIn and Pinterest also, but I don’t use them at the moment.

Nevertheless, I think it is useful to use different tools to check shares and likes of my blog.

I want to check the statistics for my Norwegian blogpost where I write about the Facebook competition rules: «Like & share and tag a friend – competition rules on Facebook».

On my Norwegian businessblog I saw these results on the top right of my blog (as illustrated in the screenshot above): Facebook: 121 and Twitter: 2 which made me wonder what the Facebook scores meant. I knew the Twitter meant it was shared twice (by me and my husband) but I wasn’t sure about what the 121 said about Facebook.

To find out more about the significance about the number 121, I will be discussing testing two different tools online: SharedCount.com and HowManyShares.com.

From SharedCount.com I get these results: 30 likes, 31 shares and 60 comments (and 19 shares in LinkedIn).

In the next tool I put exactly the same link into the easy peasy tool at HowManyShares.com

And they gave the same results as before, and maybe we should trust that it is correct? At least you can use both tools and check them up against each other if you have any doubts :)

The last tool I will show you is not about checking shares and likes on my blogpost, but to check your Facebook page performance. The tool is called Likealyzer.com and I have inserted my Vanessa Raphael Facebooksite’s link https://www.facebook.com/vanessaraphaelblog into the easy peasy tool on likealyzer.com

So now I will test my Facebookpage which is quite new and therefor doesn’t have had a long running time and I haven’t invited every one of my Facebook friends either.

So let’s look at my performance scores:

So this analyse tells me that I should ask more questions and and that my timing is way off haha. Obviously I have something to work with in addition to being just a new site.

Well, here you have some great tools for checking shares, likes and comments of your (or anyone else’s) blog and a nifty tool to check the status of your Facebook page performance with recommendations for further improvement.

And, if you like, welcome to ask questions or to comment on my Facebook page, hehe;)
